MADAME ZUZU'S

Madame ZuZu’s Tea Shop

The design for a tea shop in Highland park focused on creating a unique and engaging atmosphere that would reflect the interests and personalities of the owner. Arko Architecture provided concept and design services in close coordination with the owner, a visual artist, the contractor, and the city of Highland Park.

Conceptually Madame ZuZu’s serves as a community hub, as a place to eat, drink, watch a performance, lounge, study or just hang out. With flexible seating and a stage, the cafe can be transformed into a small venue for intimate performances or exhibitions.

The central location of Madame ZuZu’s in Highland Park’s business district, along with its many functions as a cafe, performance venue, and community space make the project an integral part of the downtown arts and culture scene.
